Pool
The pool is the most unique feature of The Springs. It is spring-fed and has a sand bottom with many sand boils and springs. The pool changes its water every three hours, so there is no need for pool purification chemicals. The excess water empties into the aquarium canal. The only maintainance required is cleaning the walls once a week. The water can be lowered for this purpose. The crystal-clear water is always 72 degrees, so it's refreshing in the summer and warm in the winter. Sand boil locations vary throughout the year. Boils can disappear from one area and reappear in another area in a matter of weeks. Pool depth ranges from 3 to 8 feet. It's a great place to cool off on a hot summer day.
