Opening Statement

Wishing all a happy Easter! May your Easter baskets be filled with joy and love along with lots of chocolate.

The monthly Board Meeting was held on April 10, 2003. The Social Committee profited $93 from the St. Patrick's Day Dinner and received $103 in donations from the yard sale. They will be planning a family game night and a luau to be held sometime in May. A thank you to Bill Daniel, Bill Harrison, and Marvin Pool for building the new benches at the clubhouse. A sprinkler system has been installed at the Marina, the ramp extended and awaiting the delivery of sod, this should beautify the area. Bill Daniel, Ken Unruh, and Norm Staniec saved us money by fixing the sinkhole next to the clubhouse.

The Board wants to publicly say "thanks" to Doreen LeBoeuf for her thoughtfulness and concern for wanting to maintain the beauty of The Springs. She is constantly going through the neighborhood picking up trash.

April Yard of the Month - Charles and Dorothy Knight
RESIDENTS...PLEASE TAKE NOTICE

We are still receiving complaints regarding dogs running loose, residents not cleaning up after their pets, and walking dogs on extremely long leashes allowing them onto residents' yards. Also we have received some complaints about LOUD MUSIC being played outdoors. Please be considerate of your neighbors as perhaps they don't like the same music that you do and they want to enjoy sitting outdoors without being blasted by your loud music.

Also, we still have concerns about the golf carts and the go-cart that go up and down our streets without having their lights on after dusk. Just remember, the Sheriff's office frequently patrols our streets, and since we live on county roads, we really aren't supposed to be driving golf carts on our streets, especially teens without a license. Please make sure your carts have lights if driven in darkness. We certainly don't want to have any accidents to happen so please DRIVE DEFENSIVELY AND CAREFULLY.

New Residents

We welcome Jason and Debora Bean who are renting at 15 Lonesome Pine Trail.

Additional Notes

In Memoriam...Dr. Frank Parks passed away on April 9, 2003. For those of you who may not remember Dr. Parks, he and his wife lived at 17 Palm Drive. They sold their house and moved to a retirement community a few years ago.

An FYI - Sue Dekker is a Florida Notary and if anyone needs something notarized, she would be happy to assist you.
